Which wiring loom?
« on: November 04, 2020, 05:23:39 PM »
The wiring loom on my 400 is a little worse for wear, and thinking of replacing it.  I see that DS has one, and also Legend Motorcycles on ebay.  Any thoughts on preference?  I like that the Legend one is made with 'Love'  :)

I feel I give quite a bit of my cash to DS, so good to share it around if I can.

I have no experience of either but I wish the company that makes them would use the correct colour wires 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I've used 3 of DS's looms for 3 separate 750's with no issues. Might not be exactly as per original but all the connections fit and go to the right places!
Current Bikes:-

I have got one from DSS, mine was fitted for me so I can only say I got into trouble with colour codes when I replaced my left hand switch gear recently, I had a new aftermarket one on already, broken courtesy me and thinking my stand was out when it wasn't.  I'm still at my wits end with a zunched out starter motor and no tail light at this stage but otherwise my loom has been fine and so are a few other electrical bits I got from DSS...no more stopping because there was nearly a fire under my left side panel.
