PD46A float height
« on: November 04, 2020, 06:15:15 PM »

looking for help with float heights on my 1977 550k3
had the carbs off to bench sync them. found a crack in one bowl, that i've replaced, thanks to Bryanj for that. replaced mixture screw o rings while i was in there. now i've got petrol coming out of all 4 carb overflows, so i guess float heights got altered while on the bench

my questions are
1) what is the float height?
2) any tips, pics or videos demonstrated best way to do it?

before petrol started pouring out, she was running better
thanks in advance

Bottom line.
I think I saw Julie made a howto quite recently, search a bit.
