When I was a skint apprentice back in 1967/8/9 I used to get a lift from a Lady i worked with. Her Husband was a Honda Sales Rep and had won a N600 for his Sales performance, which his Wife drove. He also won a couple of 'Business Trips' to Japan (he must have been very good at his job). It was a nippy little car around town and I always liked the way the Fuel Filler Cap was locked when the passenger door was closed....dead clever back then. I never realised it had a motorcycle engine though !

That Video is frightening......Lesson number one: never work under a vehicle which isn't properly supported.......but of course, we all know that don't we ! LOL.

And at 16:44 guy puts his bare hands into the plating tank.. maybe a wash tank but still dead dodgy in that environment IMHO

I also cringed when he started levering the clutch assembly off with a pair of screwdrivers against the crank cases. But, what a lovely finished restoration. That’s a LOT of work.

Back in the late 1960's I had a driving job for a car dealer in Derby they use to source new Honda S800 Sports cars from a within group dealer in Chesterfield.

I picked up several new Coupes and Roadsters over a 12 month period and had to drive them back to Derby. The drivers who took me to Chesterfield didn't want to drive them as they were so low and tiny and difficult to get out of!

A very lively and revy engine but the owners had lots of electrical glitches caused by water getting into the wiring loom connectors - sadly the bodywork used to deteriorate quite quickly.

Yes a rinse tank and only dodgy if you don't know what you are doing or not supposed to be there, i used to know an old boy who tasted the chrome solution, he would know what it needed, (crazy fecker) i would use the lab equipment to test my solutions.
