Must weigh a ton.
Also probably not a good idea to take it out in the rain.

Nice chain guard.  Yes and why indeed.
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

I’m not sure that an MOT tester would need to go further than those batteries (which may or may not be goosed) being held in by zip ties! I’ve failed on a car battery held in place by gravity and rust, I’ve also seen one flying through the air during an accident.

At least all the wiring is easy to get at. My guess is a college project, whether it was a success or not we’ll never know.

OMG! That's awful, even for a work in progress. I love the left front indicator. 🤪

I don't know, I've seen people pay a lot more for much more shoddily built stuff, anything Italian springs to mind for build quality and style, and americas pride and joy hardly dangerous for reliability

Meh, nothing's ever gone wrong with my H-D (that a 12 month engine rebuild and a new £1200 crankshaft and rod assembly wouldn't fix).

It definitely needs a metal sub-frame and some coachwork!

I would wonder what the effect of suspension travel on chain tension would be...until I realised that with the weight of those batteries...it will probably be bottomed out anyway...

What is the rev counter used for??.  And one of the front indicators is pointing backwards.  Maybe the bike goes backwards also.

Unfortunately,  it's collection in person.  Nailsea is a bit too far.  Even if I lived in Nailsea it would be too far.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?
