Anyone actually go and see the K0 on Ebay
« on: December 20, 2009, 06:23:12 PM »
Anyone actually go to see the UK K0 on Ebay last week? Looked like a bargain to me. Maybe it was because it had a K1 engine number, plastic seat base etc but I reckon whoever restored it spent a lot on it.

Eagle eyed 'viewers' would also notice that it had a '341' rear guard, non cut front guard, wrong tank trim but nevertheless I expected it to go for more. Maybe it's because DK were selling it and not the owner who rebuilt it.

A few bits were not quite right. Not convinced that the head was a K0, more like a K2/K3 type. Engine number was K1 not K0 according to the guides.
Looked very good, for the  money, but I did'nt have it  >:(

The tank trim and rear shocks are not correct but the frame and carbs with seperate cords are consistant with a CB750 (1969-1970 model) Engine is a K1, which would have the combined carb linkage.
But still a very nice bike! (K=Kariyo)

It also looks like it has the Sandcast Oil filter housing which was a recall issue.
Yes the shocks were wrong too - Just bought mine from Dave Silver - my Christmas present to Myself ;)
