You may find that getting a socket onto the big end nuts proves a problem, I ended up around 40 years ago now grinding a socket down around the outside to allow it to fit. I still have that socket today and it's found a lot of use over the years. Not sure if you can buy a socket to fit nowadays but that was my solution. It was also the only way to get the correct torque on after or I'd have used a spanner.
