Hi Everyone & HAPPY NEW YEAR
What are we in now .....The Tenties ?????
Any way , the question-  Does anyone know how they got the finish at the factory on the alluninium components ? I know it has a laquer that once the weather gets in lifts the laquer and ruins the finish. I think it is sempolished then has a soft wire brushed look ? Has anyone managed to re-create this effect on a rebuild ?
Any input would be realy helpful.

Hi Tom

I must confess to removing the laquer and polishing the cases, forks atc. The main engine is painted.
