Can't help with the scooter advice but just wanted to say that I'm sorry to hear you are giving up riding bikes - I dread that day. Hope you get the pleasure of riding out of your future riding on a scooter

Been thinking along the same lines - 72 in June (if I make it!) and the Burgman is a very capable machine - not checked to see if there is a forum?  Having had Honda printed through me like Blackpool rock, I've been looking at 750 Forzas - they do an old 300 too and a mate here has one - have a go, they're great! That has now increased to 350 on the latest model.
My problem is that I still have a 1500 SE Wing, worth 4/5ths of bugger all against a new Forza but took it for an MOT on Monday and now can't bear to part with it.

Will I ever grow up?

Ian

A good friend had one from new - he commuted from Derby to Leicester on it for several years back in 2000 - he loved it.

Thanks Bryan,
I can still handle (and man-handle!) the Wing OK, that's not really my problem, it's the space thing - too many toys in the space I have.  Yes, all my fault I know.
I always fancied 'a bit on the side' and I suppose with a Trike, you get a bit on both sides!
Going back to the OP - have a long ride on a Burgman or preferably a Forza or even XMax - they really are very practical machines.

Are you going to post some pictures?

These bigger scooters trip my memory from when I owned a Maico Letta 250 with full screen & rear carrier Black & Yellow A reg back in the day circa 1966.

They've quite a sharp and clattering combustion as they run fairly "optimal" in terms of mixture.

A bit like the 400 Honda kart engines in that respect,  all really grunty instantly available torque right off the bat from tick over.

Can hardly move for scooters now round here with so many delivery services in action, just herds of them.

Bit off topic I know but Maicoletta ... Maico Letter  ;D (from Honda Japan) ... as below. The start of Honda in the UK probably (initially 'Hondis' before they got stuffed by Honda GMBH.
