Cb550 air filter

Air filters seem to be a bit thin on the ground for a cb550k0, is the cb550f the same filter but a different part number..my research seems to suggest so !
am I missing some other parts As well, I think should be air filter retaking spring and a tool tray above the filter housing.

Havent got my parts books to hand so is there a foam filter in bottom air box and a steel tube sticking up, if so the 550 f should fit if not a 500 one should. As to tool tray you may well have to import one from us and may well not get the mesh filter as they are even more rocking horse poo. Julis does the mesh but not the holder

Here is a pic inside the box, current filter has a hole in the bottom of the metal plate that looks like it locates in a tube, the current filter has cb550f on it so I think it will fit ok

Yes the filter will fit but you are missing a part, i will try and look at it on cms for you

I will get the air/oil seperator  when onecomes available, I have ordered the air filter.

Also p/n 17350404670 is basically the same part with a different length protruding tube and fitted to the 550K3. Maybe in an attempt reduce oiling of the air filter by the recirc system.

Thanks for all the help, looks my airbox was stripped of parts at some point, I can never understand why people do this...the result is usually a decree in performance and rough running
