Oil warning light

Hi All
Got the 750 out today and the oil warning light won't come on when the ignition is on .
Help please you electronic wizards.
Bulb ok and when I earth the oil switch terminal the light comes on ,has the switch had it or is there an easy fix .

Sounds like the switch to me. 

I believe oil seeps past the internals so you can get failure either on all the time or off.
