I've got to admit steve I've no idea. It's a setting in the config \"Turn Karma ON? yes/no\", and since there no karma like good karma I said yes.

It looks like you can \"applaud\" or \"smite\" other users, but not yourself. I suppose that if you like someone contribution you applaud them, if not you smite them.

I just did the karma thing for Steve, and I tried to do it for you John, it only allows you to do it once every 6 hours! Ah, do you remember the days when you could do it every 6 hours?

Why is \"British Racing\" Green, why can't it be blue, do other countries have colours, like \"Japanese Racing Red\" or \"Amercican Racing Pink with yellow dots\"

Good question. I believe that in the early motor racing days, countries did in fact have their own colour: Italy was red, UK was green, can't remember what the German one was.
