Long title that one. I have acquired a Yamaha XV750 in parts, but without a V5. I have the frame number, but no reg plate. That was lost some time before I got the bike. IS it possible to get the registration number from the frame number?

I've just been onto the DVLA website...there are loads of options on there, one of which may well be what you are asking about.

I had spoken to DVLA and was told to build the bike, MoT on the chasis no, Insure and tax on frame no. Also get a dating letter from the manufacturer Then fill in a special form, pay
