Honda UK have said they will not be importing any, which in my mind is a great shame as I'm sure there would be a market for them over here - look how many Bonnies Triumph have sold, must be quite a few nostalgic 1970s Honda fans out there (apart from us on here) !

I would certainly consider buying one if the price was realistic...

What do you think, any takers if Honda UK change their minds ?

Nope, I'd leave it on the shelf, looks like a cross between a Z1 and a Norton Commando, very strange.

What are Honda thinking...? That is so bland it's not true.

I think that dealers in the UK would be left with those sitting on the showroom floor for a long time.

Japan only. Plus Oz and NZ as (apparently) they have very similar noise and emission regs.

Why??

The old Z1000 Kawasakis put out similar power and weighed about the same. It is not exactly pretty and has a shortage of power, and weighs a huge amount. Whats the point, when you can buy an old bike that has similar power (apart from the brakes and suspension), but will still be worth the price you paid after a few years

Nice bike too although I'm not sure about the silver side panels.

I'll have to keep an eye out at the local Honda dealer to see if it comes over here.

I like it but I agree about the side panels. Apart from the fact I couldn't afford it I think its great that naked bikes are back in fashion these days.

If you are going to build a retro bike then do the same as Triumph and Ducati, the Bonnie certainly looks like it's 60's counterpart. But the Honda looks nothing like any classic Honda that I can recognise, sure it is a retro bike but not a Honda, if you follow me.

It's a big old bus but I like it. Would certainly go for a test ride although I'm not sure I would buy one.

It says in MCN that it's only going to be Japan and Aus / NZ released, not Europe.

My local Honda dealer is only 5 mins down the road so a test ride may be in order if it comes to Aus.
