exhaust compatability

hi does anybody know if a 1983 f2 4 into 2 exhaust will fit a 1980 k7 new here dont know if i am in right place

what i am trying to find out is if any other exhausts will fit a 750k as i have just bought one but down pipes are rotten and need to find one cheap thanks

F2 wont fit and the 1980 is a twin cam that wont fit either, Depends on the year of your bike as frame mounting points moved

engine and frame numbers 1977 but registered in the uk 1980 import maybe ?

Thats a K7 then and could have been "old" stock as they didn't sell well, I think the mountings on that one were unique so without much modding you will need a specific aftermarket system, Motad or somesuch but specify it as 77 or you will get the wrong one

I think that the two bikes in question may well be the CB750K7 & the CB750F2B. With the cylinder heads being completely differant I doubt if there is any compatibilty.

But if you were lucky enough to find some CB750F2 4 into 1 downpipes these could be used with a custom made silencer. I had such a silencer made for me by John Campbell of Campbell Geometrics when they used to be in Dartford in Kent. John now works out of a workshop in a car MoT place in Chelsfield in Kent making stainless steel exhaust systems for bikes, cars & one-offs.
