Nice one Julie! Dead jealous here. I think a motorcycling holiday to warmer climes might be nice this time of year. Think of the saving on fuel 😡😡
Nope! That didn’t work.🤬

Fantastic weather for riding Julie, it's like spring out there. I did just over 100 miles today on my VFR. I was doing a mock IAM test ready for the real thing on Thursday 17th @2pm😬

Can't believe it's 13 degrees.......in November.....in Scotland!

Lovely run along the River Nith to Caerlaverock Castle this morning, probably my last outing this year.

@LaverdaDave, good luck with the I AM test.. I took (and passed!) the car one earlier in the year. After month s of dry weather as the test started th e heavens opened and I had an hour of torrential rain and near - zero visibility in the spray to drive in,including a particularly unpleasant A1 section.  I was pooped by the end of it - it's surprising how much you concentrate, and even more so with an examiner in tow.

Thanks Andy, I passed the IAM test this afternoon. Phew, it was hard but the examiner made it easier and told me to just enjoy myself so I did😁.

Thank you all👍
I didn't realise how passing the test would cause me to wake up with such a headache this morning! It was obviously all the concentration and absolutely nothing to do with going out for a celebration curry and drinking alcohol🤕😁

I can't recommend the IAM highly enough and especially the Middlesex Advanced Motorcyclists who got me through it. After 43 years of continuous riding bikes I thought I knew it all until I joined the IAM. Unbelievable what you learn from the experts and how it all works in practice. I now ride quicker (make progress as they call it) by going slower but constantly thinking about where I am and what is up ahead. I'm now 61 and wish I'd learnt this 30 years ago!

For decades I thought Curry made me ill before I twigged it was the skin full of beer or lager.
