The Halfords professional range are very good. They, like all other brands do break, especially when used all the time and sometimes in inventive ways to get a job done. Warranty is a nice fall back
Be surprised if they were still Gedore though. The spanners are pretty chunky compared to other brands.
Like most on here, I still have tools from the 70's, especially like the Elora stuff
