My F2 has green clocks too

Well, far be it for me to cause any consternation....but these, reputedly "green" F2 clocks...look just like the CMS ones ......& like the ones on my mates F2......& compared to the F1 ones....whilst they may have a green'ish hue,.....when lit.....the F1 ones "glow" green....really green, like a gaudy but spectacular neon light green....alien almost in it's intensity ;).....but the F2 ones - at least on his bike - don't, so are we on the same page here when defining green clocks or simply confusing the issue.  If that "green" kmh marking on the F2 clock faces was on my faces you wouldn't see it because they are soooooooooo green  8)

Den (Spitfire) should know - he's got one of each, I think ?  Definitely not the same clocks whichever.

My 77 F2 (S) Has green clocks, but the green is so dark that at first look it appears to be blue, without looking I would have said that they were blue !

Now I look at it again and they are blue, probably depends on the light.

The hell with the colour!

All three tachs are different.

What was the red line?

Spitfire: 9500 - 10500 with markings to 12 (but no numeral)
Sprunghub: 8500 - 9500 with markings to 11

.....the F2 Tacho faces are the same on all 3 bikes, I think....the F1's are different ?  The F2 ones, with the higher 'red' line ( & the blue/black faces)........
