F1 Side panel madness!
« on: May 14, 2010, 11:00:37 AM »
When restroring my F1 I brought a set a new bungs for the side panel attachment points from DS, but they are so tight I managed to crack the LH side panel while removing it! I have since put some vasaline on each one to avoid the problem happeing again, but I am now in need of a replcement for the LH one which covers the electrical components, I got a DS repro one but it is not really a very good copy, I will be scouring the auto jumbles this summer but if anyone has one I would appreciate hearing from you.

Got mine from eBay fits fine, may be the same ones as sold by DSS, but I am not sure.

Have recently bought a LH panel for my K4 from LPM through e-bay, very pleased, minimal tidying before painting, and fits a treat.
