Reading between the lines I'd say they were in financial difficulties.

Kaz left the business late last year and her brother Martyn is now running it. He only sells via ebay and trade orders. I spoke to Martyn last month and the company has gone through a complete re structure which took longer to sort out than expected.

I noticed that even though they have been moulding very nice repro CB750K0/sandcast original '69 short style chain-guards for years .. they never seemed to sell any to Joe public  ??? I managed to get one at Stafford show a year or so back. However, I recently saw at least one for sale from them on eBay.
I think the founder was their dad, who was ex- Rover/B.L..

That may be the case now but definitely not the case a few years back ..unless you mean available to the trade.
