Classic bike show at Knebworth on the same day. Like buses, none for ages, then all together

Enjoy either

I've done Knebworth quite a few times (twice as a Judge) and it's a little too expensive as Knebworth charge their normal rate and rememeber kiddies if you want to exhibit you still have to pay full price!!

I'm off to the Ace for the 70's day for the first time.

Pictures to follow on either Sunday night or Monday night

Hoping to get there tomorrow, weather permitting. BBC now says 'light showers', think it was thunderstorms forecast a couple of days ago !

Knebworth now issue a classic bike show form where you obtain a pass and only pay

Had a great day at the Ace, was good to meet Daz and UK Pete and the rain stayed away. A fair turnout of bikes with a real mixture of just about everything from the 70's (Z1s, Kettles, Jotas, Guzzis, Moto Morini 3.5, Fantics (!) and plenty of Honda fours of course) - Pete may post some pictures soon (cheers Pete)  :)

The weather turned out ok in the end so i went up to the ace cafe, there was a small show of classics and amongst them i managed to find Daz and Fazer1k, it was good to meet these guys and hopefully we will meet again there was a maroon F2 but i never got to talk to the guy so not sure whether he is on hear, there was also a couple of 400 fours and a F1 i saw but i never got to talk to them, i also got talking to another guy who has a K2  a k6 and a cbx 750, he new of the forum but was not a member, so i tried to convince him to join up, he seemed to know all about the honda's so i hope he does find us and join up

Hi PMK, thanks for putting up the pictures, i was looking out for you but could not see you anywhere, i said to Fazer1k that might be your bike but we were not sure
Sounds like you had a good day what with 160 miles of riding, i had never heard of newlands corner until you just mentioned it, i really need to get out more and ride around and start meeting more like minded people, most of my mates have given up biking and the few that still do are not interested in riding out to these places, still i am sure there will be more events where some of us members will meet up

Newlands Corner is a bit of a trek from Sidcup - but if you are visiting Box Hill, it's always a good idea to visit Newlands as well.

Are there any biker cafes round your way? Always on the lookout for a place to meet my mates from Canterbury.

Oakdene Cafe, London Rd, Wrotham TN15 7RR, every time i go past there are lots of bikes sometimes hundreds of them, it is well known as a bikers meeting place, i might start visiting it myself as its only a 15 minute ride from me, i just dont fancy looking like billy no mates standing there on my own, i think the VJMC meet up at the cafe for rides out during the summer
