I've always used a brass wire brush (suede brush ?) To clear fine jets as the wire is fine enough to not cause a problem (some have "cross hairs" inside the jet to enhance molecule mixing size, but stiff enough to clear solidified gunk.
Just get one bristle and bend it out sideways from the brush, gently push the jet onto that bristle while twisting it to clear the dried contents.
Taught to me by a friend's very erudite father when I was a teenager, which I'm now passing on to you grasshopper
