Well that was a surprise .....
« on: August 21, 2022, 12:09:07 PM »
Thought I'd adjust the cam chain today and was surprised when I took the cover off to find my points missing and this in their place ........ can anyone identify it ?

I'm presuming my recently ordered Hondaman system is now defunct  ::)

Yep - I just found that on ebay as well

Have saved a copy of the instructions from CMSNL

That will teach me for not checking first before parting with my money :)

They seem to get a decent writeup and work - so I'll have a Hondaman system for sale in a week or so ....... onwards and upwards !!

I'd sell that and refit the old contact plate and Hondaman system. If that fails you're stranded, if the Hondaman system fails you can go back to points really quickly and by the side of the road.

You are probably right but apart from needing all the bits I'm a little ham fisted at timing type things and would need an idiots guide .... I know sad  ::)
