The parameters That I have here work really well for these and as part of my tank cleaning crew if you like I have my tanks around 24.9 - 25.2 degrees C
pH 6.8 - 7-1

Most of the tanks are a bit over stocked fish wise as its how I keep my tanks but I plant heavily as a concequence and these are massive nitrate collectors so over feeding/lack of water changes etc are compensated. I harvest every other month.........just so you know. Get it right and they multiply  quite fast but they do a fantastic job.
 
I've had a scan through them for shrimps and snail eggs but if you get any I apologise. However that being said, the snails are cool and only breed slowly but clean the glass and every surface area a treat, I have no algae what so ever in any of my tanks and it's mainly down to these guys and I only have about 6 in each tank. They dont touch the plants in the slightest, concentrating on the glass mainly........ they look pretty bonkers too which is nice.....
