Oxford Vigilante
« on: August 30, 2022, 12:46:06 PM »
This is what happens when housing associations don't bother locking gates that are supposed to be locked, people like me go vigilante! This bloke and his entourage thought it would be convenient to use our backyard for a parking lot, and I know once they start they never stop. Well, if the housing association won't lock the gate I/we will and on went a hefty oxford motorcycle lock and chain went on instead, that's the black thing you see wrapped around the gate. After a few hours I went back and found really upset man with others milling around like flies around poo. I waved the key as I approached and he got ratty with me .... ' who you think you are, why you do this to me?' etc etc ....oh well I told him, looks like you need an angle grinder before you get towed away. I start to walk away and the tone of voice changed 'no no plis plis' he slobbered 'I no do again ...plis, plis!' well, I thought it would be embarrassing if he got on his knees so I let him go this time!
I brake for animals!

That goes for most of us! ;D Whipping it up on blocks would be far more satisfying but then it stays for longer and a chance they come back!
