Thanks for the reply
It’s a Supersport F2 and Carbs look original
Previous owner was a friend who had it 20 years and really never used it apart from the odd run
I am just looking for a local garage that I can trust to get them serviced and set up
Bike starts on the button and ticks over but slight fuel leak from the pipe at the bottom of one of the carbs
Given the familarity to work with most of these carbs and finding someone reliable that won't make worse any difficulty currently happening, then it may be worthwhile using a fuel addative initially to see if that helps.
Something like reddex or two stroke oil added at 10ml /litre (100:1 ratio) has been viewed as helpful from forum experience in assisting reliable float closing etc to bring more reliable running.
Something you may have picked up on forum is that the original brass jets etc are highly desirable to keep if in good order. Mentioned because someone offering to work on them may advocate all new components without the experience to back up that choice.
From the description, it sounds as if there's minor sticking of float valves to give the outflow you see. If that's the case, then the above action of addative, a little tap on floatbowls with screwdriver handle could help significantly to then allow further running to assess where you are longer term.
