Wise words Ted, an overwhelming number of people agree!  Levelling up? Nah, its the Palace of Westminster that just wants levelling.  Written on Nov 5th too!

As someone who believes Guy Fawkes should have suceded and been knighted i would love for all the transport firms, including supermarkets to dump the goods at the clean air borders and say to the nimbies "There you are, get it to the shop shelves yourself!"

I think any MP should have worked for 10 years in any industry & paid taxes.

An overriding issue on the horizon though is the consideration of levying emmisions charge on the greater London area in addition to central zone that will place a £12.50 daily charge for any non compliant vehicles when caught moving.

Yes got to hope the still exclude historics, but there is a danger that there will be a wave of people buying them to avoid. I see in Australia some states restrict historics to a certain maximum number of days a year (you have a log that you have to carry) to stop everyday use.
Most petrol cars post 2006 and bikes post 2007 are ULEZ compliant apparently, but diesels are harder hit.

Reading the rules, I could be in the market for a tractor as not restricted as far as I can see.

Or a horse  ;D as I can go literally anywhere with impunity with that. I rather like the idea of a Clydesdale as unrestricted in general road traffic rules, park it anywhere too. Probably name it Diesel for irony  ;D

Just rambling now, it does that to you.
