I’ll try and post tomorrow, but I’m out on the lash tonight so cross your fingers.

Hi Roo,
Yes 'twas I wot sent it!  Forgot to put a note in - it was all a bit of a rush when I stopped off at my Sister's in Aberdeenshire.  On the way tomorrow to NEC for cars 'n bikes. Back in Orkney next Tues - hopefully!
I put the piece of wood between the sides just in case Posties used it for a penalty shoot out 🤓

Talking of posting stuff......here's a cracker. Got a Text on Saturday from Royal Mail to say my E Bay order of a Hosepipe Spray gun had been delivered and it had been signed for. Not true ! Said Spray gun actually arrived the following Monday morning and when the very nice Postwoman asked me to sign for it.....I opened the parcel in front of her to make sure it was said Spray gun. I told her that Royal Mail had advised me by E Mail that it had been delivered on Saturday.....but typically she didn't seem at all surprised !

Could the fact that Royal Mail are losing money have anything to do with the fact that they seem to suffer from 'Elbow and Arse disease' ? (as in the fact that they don't seem to know their elbows from their arses).
Now: 2008 CB1300S, CB750K4, 1970 Bonneville. Various other 1960's 650 Triumph T120's/ TR6's/ TR6C's (all in bits...many, many bits unfortunately). Previous: 2007 CB600FA, 1976 CB500 Four. BMW F800ST. GS750E. ZZR1100. CB1300 (2). ZXR1200S. VFR800. CB750 Nighthawk. CX500. XS500 Yam. Suzuki GT500. BSA A10. Various Lambrettas. Zundapp Bella (honest).

More than likely they tried charging me for import duty on an item I bought from Scotland last week........Edinburgh!  I kid you not!!;D

They wouldn't release it until I paid...they'd already dragged me to the sorting office in Bristol rather than my local posty to get it so I was already in a chipper mood after spending £9 and 40mins just to drive into town!
It didnt go well for them !! ;)

Ijust read from chapter three, page two of the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE BLEEDING OBVIOUS and now awaiting a letter with my congestion surcharge and fuel milage returned to come! I'm not holding my breath!

Bloody idiots, like we're not pulled about enough, evreything is going up but there's still the same amount of hours in the day so we're not earning any more.   Ggggrrr, rant, twine, etc...............waving of clenched fist, the lot ;D ;)

I sense some frustration oh wise one. I’m sure it must be a old age age thing, but why does it seem that the older we become the less well others do at their job?
