CB500 rear sprocket plate
« on: November 07, 2022, 09:43:52 AM »
I’m trying to find a new(ish) replacement rear sprocket plate 41211-323-000 or at least work out what the original finish should be.

All I’ve got to go on are some images from the CMSNL website. The plating doesn’t look like zinc, it’s much duller.

Does anyone have one or can anyone recommend somewhere where my one can be restored?

Many thanks

Dan

Would like anew replacement myself, though the 77F2 was painted black me thinks?

If you do manage to dig it out I’d love to see a photo of the finish.

If the company is based in Latvia I had a positive experience when I bought some diesel injection hoses for our old Jeep from a firm in Latvia.
The parts were as advertised and appeared to be genuine spares at around 2/3 of the UK price - pre #@%$.

Looking at the site for my spring they do not post to the UK?

The finish as standard is Zinc but not BZP as we commonly see on Hondas. Just your bog standard zinc.

Someone was selling 2 of them the other week, Roo bought one and I was after the other but no harm in asking, your need is probably greater than mine. My last one I had chromed, didn't turn out great TBH but it looked nice from a distance.

[/quote]I’d have no problem buying from them but there is no photo and I have no idea of the condition. It’s highly unlikely to be NOS as there don’t seem to be any apart from in Bryan’s stores :)

Standard zinc looks more silvery than the finish on the CMSNL photos?

Would you be able to message me the contact of the person who was selling one?

Thanks Ken.

It was Gary123 IIRC, he posted a pic for Roo and there was 2 of them on there. Roo was buying one and I asked about the other.

You can ask both Roo and Gary if one is still available, you never know until you ask.
