« on: December 04, 2022, 09:39:54 PM »
Also required is a brake arm. Bought one off Ken but it’s not right fit this hub as it carry’s the thicker one of the two, one on the right.

Anybody got a spare one lurking they don’t eat,  don’t mind what nick it’s in now I’ve spent the earth on polishing gubbins

Number 10 on the fiche
Part no# 43411 374-000

Thankyou please.

On further looking its not number te at all!
Don’t have a part number for it, might have come from a 450 but can’t be sure. It’s fairly distinctive and a lot fatter than the described earlier.

Cheers

Thanks to abit of help, the arm Im afetr is one of these. This is the only one on the net at the min and a bit steep but this is what I'm hunting down, one of these.
This does mean at least I know my rear brake plate is of a 750K 71'-76 according to the net...

Not 100% sure but i thought the 750 drum was bigger diameter and wider than 500/550

Roo the 500 and 550 f1 take the smaller diameter brake cam, for some unknown reason Honda changed the cam and the arm for the F2. The cam is actually part number 43141-341-020 not 010, the arm is 43410-404-000 and appears to have been superseded to 43410-MR5-000. I wasn’t aware the F2 was different from either the 500 or 550f1, never spotted it. Which I suppose would be easy to miss until you put them side by side.

Oh and in case you haven’t spotted it, the brake torque arm bolt is also different, just in case you bought one off Max.

The Brake arm is longer on a 750 and the plate is bigger. It is just the cam that is the same as the 750  ;)
