two possible reasons. either its a fake, or it sat in a showroom unsold for a while.

This bike has been part of small collection amassed over a number of years. It has been owned by our vendor for about a decade. The enthusiast he purchased it from lived in Sunderland. When our vendor was chatting with him, they both worked out from the history, this is one of the very last build of these limited editions.

....which isn't conclusive validation that it's genuine, but I suppose there's no reason why it couldn't be registered late? Do build records / paperwork normally exist for them.
