CB500 Four USA rear bumper on Europe model

Hello everyone

I was wondering if I could put an USA bumper (the one from CMSNL https://www.cmsnl.com/products/bumper-rear-non-oe_84101323671p/) on my CB500 K1 from Europe.

My frame numer is CB5002083696 so it would be a K1 - General Export. CMSNL doesn't recognize the bumper as an option for the K1 General Export, but by the looks of it, it would fit.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Also, does anyone know where to buy these parts for the rear winkers that are no longer available? (L: https://www.cmsnl.com/products/stopper-winker_33605323670/ and R: https://www.cmsnl.com/products/stopper-winker_33604323670/)

It will fit, AFAIK all the 500/550 grab rails are interchangeable. However, the parts which fit them are not. So it will fit your frame but the indicator mounts for instance are different from those fitted to the 550F for instance. They look the same but the spacing and size are different, beware of that as some sellers on Ebay mistake parts for other models and say they will fit when they don't.

Should have the other if you look. It's usually the postage will kills it and some won't ship to the UK or Europe anymore. If you have a friend/relative in the USA then maybe ask them to buy a pair for you and send them over as a gift. No import duties etc then.

BTW, that grab rail is made by GBMotosport in Italy. Good quality.

I have some mounts i imported a while back, dont know which side, as Ken says they are handed but if you are creative and not a perfectionist they will fit both sides

I have two of these grab rails or bumpers, identical apart from the indicator brackets as mentioned by oddjob. They are different widths and hard to find, the part numbers with 323 middle are the 500 ones with smaller distance between screw hole and stem mount. I am also wanting the metal stoppers if there are any spare.

Wow, thanks! I'll probably buy them, if nobody else has any suggestions for buying those stoppers in Europe? I'd pay triple the price just for importing those haha

You don't need them. Honda really exaggerated in persuing to make those indicators vibrationproof. I've cut two pieces of black rubber that go in between the stem and the grabrail. Just as good and it looks even better. No vibes and less wires.

I thought of that of course. The way I mounted them, it works perfectly and it looks nicer.
