Roo, I'm surprised at you making a comment like that to Julie

"Well done for accepting your confinement and making good use of your time"

Have you tried picking your teeth up with a broken arm?  8)

‘‘Twas tongue in cheek as ever and I’m sure Julie got the poke.
Broken teeth you say? I’m just pricing getting all mine taken out as sadly the diabetes has knackered my lower jaw. I’ve taken three out myself since crimbo  and getting bored of the stress involved. Never mind having to wash my ‘brave boy’ pants thrice since December
So your question might just save me about 7 grand

Worry not Ian, I'm totally immune to sexist comments like that. I'm too busy scrubbing the floor and cooking dinner, not to mention the decorating, to worry about things like that☺️☺️☺️☺️ But, thank you for your concern.

Nice wobble up to Shepton Mallet this morning in the Baltic conditions to go to the Bristol Classic Bike Show at the showground there. Hooked up with Tim, (Multiman) and Matt Harrington for a brew, a  moan and a wheeze and to look at some lovely machinery. There was a chap ther selling Honda stuff called 'On All Fours', think Ive seen him on the net advertising, selling pattern calipers (£150) and had variouse bits and bobs including a replica full system for the 400F at a eye watering £852!!!

Speacial show price of £800.....................................Robber! ;D
And he wouldn't take cards, wondered if he'd done a show before, who walks round with £850 folded up in their pocket? ;D

Some lovely kit there and some cracking people as ever. Several coffees 'supped', ciggies smoked and some over priced food scoffed. All with the backdrop of bikes, bikes and more bikes, the obligatory throng of tyre kickers and twist grip tweakers, small terriers and no kids......Woohoo!................
A good day out and a quick 'thrape' home on the old girl to stretch her legs and now into the shed for some fiddling.........Great Sunday all round then ;) :) :D

Good to meet up! There were indeed some cracking bikes there  - including 3 x CB1100R's and some lovely Ducati's.

Great to see ya Roo and nice to meet you Matt.
Lots of nice bikes.

I think his main thought is Mr Vat man not walking around with part of that wedge in his pocket! Maybe so but surely as a business man, as you say Roo, he must appreciate punters don't carry lots of dosh. Surely lost more business than a bit of tax fiddled!
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

I'm back after a van crash, covid, being punted across a roundabout and throwing my back out. I can finally get back on the bike :) don't waist a large wedge on paying for physio it turns out throwing yourself down the stairs works quite well  ;D
So we'll in fact I decided to use the Guzzi after tinkering with it for a couple hours and it still not starting I dragged the trusty Honda out and unsurprisingly it fired up almost with out hesitation. 62miles later and with my dad not to far behind on my Pegaso we stopped to look at a Husky 401. They must be good value as my dad paid for one there and then so expecting delivery next Friday. Anyone that has ever met him will know just how tight he is 🤣
