Forgot to post these from last Thursday.

I only tend to take pics of bikes that I think are either rare, as in you don't see a lot of them these days, or well done or just appeal to me for some reason. I very rarely take pics of modern bikes but in this case I did as one just floated my boat for some unknown reason.

A nice Morini 500, been a long while since I've seen one of these.



A reasonable 900Z1B, always had a soft spot for the 900, the styling is just perfect.



Quite a few scramblers there that night, here's a nice 250 Suzuki that just took me back.



A Yamaha XT500, remembered working on loads of those along with it's road cousin the SR500, little window on the end of the camcover so it didn't try and break your leg kicking it over. 

 

Another Suzuki 250.



Staying with Suzuki, a nice condition GT550 with pipes on, sounded really nice when it fired up.



A CB750, never really floated my boat but this one was in good nick.



Yet another Suzuki 250 but this one an X7, did loads of work on these, remember them very fondly..



My favourite of the night, never really liked old British iron but this was just fantastic, missing the speedo for some reason. A superb Sunbeam in all it's glory, love the little toolbox panniers.



And finally a modern bike, no idea why I like this but it just made me keep looking at it. Italian porn.

Nice selection there Ken. A few friends had a XT Yamaha when contemporary, one has one now and rolls downhill from his house to start when cold with a bump start  they, all big single, can give a bit of a pop if you're not careful when starting.

There's an Aprilia V4 lives near me and with accessory exhaust too, it's got a really crisp crack when he blips it, also the most beguiling wail as it's wound up too, a stunning bike, agree with your interest.

Ditto on the 'prilla. They look and sound like they are straining at the leash to let rip at the slightest provocation.

I generally cannot be bothered with modern sports bikes but these and maybe the blades which are just neat and purposeful.

That's a great selection of bikes there Ken, especially the Z1B - I had one new in that colour in 1975. Bought it from Onger Motorcycls in Essex when I was working down south (very few Kawasaki dealers then). Part exchanged for a GS1000HC at Queens Park Motors in 1978 - maybe you worked on either bike! When I arrived to pick up the Suzuki, the Z1 was that mint, they put it straight in the window! Wish I still had that bike

Used to drive around London on a Suzi TS250 - perfect for the traffic......
