Anyone recognise this bit?
« on: January 01, 2023, 02:00:23 PM »
Can’t remember where this lives and seem to be getting snow blindness looking in the book, anyone know where it lives?
It’s quite possible it doesn’t belong to Mejima but it was in with all the bagged bits so it might I just can’t remember.

Ta in advance for help and or ridicule whichever’s easiest

Can't help with identifying part, but my ABS (advanced biscuit system) has detected a half used pack of digestive biscuits in that vicinity  ;D

Don't think they're gingernuts, but then that may be getting too personal  ;D

You are quite correct in your observation, the gingernuts and Tunnuck's are in the drawer out the way of stealing other halves and visiting tea and biscuit bandits hell bent on bobbing in for five minutes and clearing you out!

I even have a box of Matchmakers orange thingies in the bottom draweer of the tool cab...............ssshhh! :D ;)

The shape and the bolt holes look like it may be something off the front footrests. Possibly a home made spacer because the rubber was too big..

Nope!

dunno, it can stop on the shelf fr now then. I had it on a bag labled Coil mount but Ive already got that on so its not that.

Its no biggie ;D

Managed to find a OEM, in the bag, rear brake spring yesterday, means I have a new one and Ted gets a replacement .........double win   8)

I presume we are talking about the rear brake pedal spring? if so a 550F one is quite hard to find so price it accordingly. If it's the one on the end of the rod that's the same.

I agree Ken it has the look/shape of a rear foot peg about it.
