Hi, this being my first post, I am after some info on stainless spokes,
1. Are butted spokes available in stainless
2. would I have to send samples of the spokes required
3. where is the best plece to obtain spokes from
and just to change the subject are the heavy duty cylinder studs available inthe U.K.

There are spoke suppliers in Mechanics magazine.

The first one that springs to mind is Hagons - I've seen their work.

I think Wyldes ? up at Leeds do re-builds.....Central Wheel's do, but have a mixed reputation lately......Hagon's as mentioned.
I think a lot of the 'builders' use Central Wheels 'stock'.

I bought my last set of Stainless spokes and nipples from Hagon. They were not butted, but I believe they will supply these if requested.

Original spokes (galvanised) are still available from Silvers.
