Thought it might contrast well with repainted aluminium. Search for burnt bronze clutch cover.

Don’t suppose anybody on the forum can identify that ‘bright silver’ colour?

Now that is helpful. I was thinking ‘bright silver’ or ‘glacier silver’……?

I can bung you a load via wattsapp if needed? Just a bit quicker than one at a time on here?

It might be the pale golden end of the bronze spectrum rather than my  Nut Brown end.
I still see a really nice nut brown frame when I am dreaming at night
It might have been a real wtf head turning colour. 🤔🤔🤔

🤣 They say you can't polish a turd! Please don't paint it like one in the first place. 😫

No, but you can roll it it hundreds and thousands😁 TBH the Burnt Bronze was a variation on the ‘Brown’ leg pull theme. I’d love to achieve the original finish, but there appears to be some doubt over the type and colour finish. I may even just leave them as vapour blasted. I’d love to have them satin polished, but around where I live the quotes are horribly expensive and I’m doubtful i’ll get the quality I’m seeking.

Roo has been kind enough to send me an example of bright silver cerakote and that’s probably the way I’ll go.

JUsr sdnt you a load of comparrison shots Phil. Some ok but you'll get the gist. Ive also emailed Nathan at the coaters for the code and manufacturer of the stuff so if you choose to go that route, you'll now what to order. I'll pass it on as soon as I know mate. ;)

Different manufacturer and different painter may have different codes for the same colour though Roo. Only really applies when you're going to the same coater and asking for the same colour as someone else I'd imagine.

Yeah, thought of that but if he gives me a manufacturer, it may be some way to getting what Phil wants. He could even send them down and have em done with my chap, he is rather good.....

Either that or I coud pick em up next time im in yourk next month and sort it but TBD I should think....

Thanks guys. If you could relate it to the cerakote colour that would kill it? I could always revert to burnt bronze🫣

See what you mean by the Alu, Ken. I’m vacillating between Alu and Bright silver now. Damn it, it wish somebody could turn up with the original cover paint match.
