Oh nearly forgot Sesman, Roo told me you wanted to be left my box of shells if anything happened to me and I’ve had a word with the missus.

If anything happens the box of shells is yours, there are loads in there, different sizes and different colours, I’m sure you’ll make good use of them.

I’m not exactly sure what’s in there but there certainly some scallops, a few mussel and I think a conch last rime I looked, maybe stick them on some lamp shades or something, possibilities are endless.

Always thought you were generous and not the "shellfish type"
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

Thats great Ken, you would have been missed. Lets hope the forum carries on as before, we all need to look after ourselves first and foremost, and respect others.
Love the 500 and 550 have a 500 called Lazarus under restoration

Result 👍
Been on other forums, for classic bikes, Triumphs, Francis Barnetts other Honda forums and seriously none are even in the same league as this one. Long may it continue.

There are exceptions ..the UK CB72/77 Facebook closed group is great and never ever seen any nastiness on there.. The VJMC one is an absolute minefield of nastiness though and best avoided.

The-whole-is-greater-than-the-sum-of-its-parts by Macabe Thiele, on Flickr

I think problem solving is where this site excells as it draws on so many areas of expertise not forgetting the useful links for sourcing parts etc. I particularly enjoy the lateral thinkers here as well as those who think outside the box.

I was a member of the Nissan 4x4 owners club for many years long after we sold our Nissan R3mr in many ways it was similar to the sohc forum in terms of helpfulness except there was a £10 annual fee - worthevery penny imho. Sadly the Terrano is getting long in the tooth & has yet not reached classic status so membership is/was in decline.

After a long conversation with Roo regarding leaving the site this Sunday I have been persuaded that it's better for everyone if I stayed. It may not please everyone but then you never can can you?

My staying though will mean I'll be posting far less, I won't be offering any advice unless specifically asked for it. I will be mainly concentrating on my own projects and some of my friends projects. Whether you find my posts informative or helpful is up to you, if you don't feel free not to comment.
I’m really pleased to hear this. Good decision Ken and glad you’re still going to be around on the forum.

Ken, even in my short time being on this forum, I have gleaned useful info from your posts, so I am glad you are here to mentor us.  ;D
