When Ford bought out Jaguar they were looking at the V12 Crankshafts being machined in the Jag factory. By the side of the Grinding Machine were skips containing Crankshafts......quite a few of them. "What are these Cranks" ? was the question......"Oh....these are scrap" !!!!!!!

Amazing how that bloke does what he does.....even more amazing that he's still got both hands and all his fingers (and toes) !

Incredible! Probably going back to post war Britain practices - not sure about the oilway cleanliness though!
