cb650z
« on: July 10, 2010, 05:58:43 PM »
hi there,

I wonder if someone can help me, I'm after the plastic cover that house's the indicator, high beam and ignition  lamps which is located between the clocks. The previous owner of my bike drilled a hole in the existing one for an led lamp as some kind of cut out switch indicator.

I know the cb750F1 has one but not sure if its the same size so does the 400/4.

Any help would be appreciated if you know if the above bikes are the same for my part or where I might be able to source one.

regards

Dave

Hi Dave, good to see you on here.

For info here's a pic of my 650Z one, so others can see if it matches other models...

Thanks Phil for taking the trouble to do that, I've seen a cb750f1 on ebay which is being broken for parts and its advertising the complete part I need, with the trailing wires. Just waiting for the guy to come back to me on it. and hope its the same size.

David Silver have now stopped selling the part although its still on their list under the cb750f1/400four.

once again.thanks mate.

p.s
Seen some great photos on the web and once I get the bike working I think eventually I'm going to follow your footsteps and turn it into a cafe racer using possibly wire wheels.

No, just hadn't got as far as puuting the fuses and cover back together at that point,
