Starting Magnetic Switch connection to main loom

 Starting Magnetic Switch has a Red & White cable and Red Cable coming from it. I have just replaced the wiring loom and the new loom has a Box Connector on it. I am sure it is for this cable, however, the old loom had this cable on a 'double bullet' connection. This looks like a patch job to me.
I made a patch with spades to fit the box, the bike started. What I need is a new cable that will fit into this Box connector. I can only presume it is a sealed connection due to the   high voltage passing through it so I don’t want to use the patch I made as the spades could easily touch or arc. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Only 12 volts passing through there. Did you mean high current to the starter motor. If so solid connection is more important than insulation, but it does need insulation of course.

Check where the wires in the loom go to, from memory red/white goes to rectifier and red to ignition switch or fuse box depending on year.
Let me know and i will tell you what to connect where, bike would be helpful as well, and please dont say its in sig details, i like most never look there!

Is this on a 400 - if it is it looks like the connector that slots into the bottom of the battery box area under the fuse box.
One side is the loom the other is the block connector to the solenoid or fuse box forget which?

The photo is of the 400f loom on the left side of the frame.
I think that is the wire you are talking about.

Mine had the female side of the connecter still in place - looking at my bike it goes to the solenoid area so it's probably the live side - wiring diagram will confirm.
As I mentioned previously Kojaycat sell the connectors in pairs, part include the terminals.

Part number is 35858-333-000 Magnetic Sub Cord. Pretty sure you could find a used one or a new one from someone like Electrex.

If you download the parts manual for the 400 from Aladdin's Cave you can find the part number & description then search it online.
Also if you are not aware this site does a lot of used 400 spares - Steve is a great guy his site does not show prices but he e-mails you one usually within a few hours,

Your link shows the 6.3mm metal terminals only which do fit most 2,3,4,6,8 way plastic shells. As before, vehicle wiring products do not stock the OE Japanese plastic shells.

VWP have have a box of assorted 6.3mm connectors/ blocks and including a crimp tool. Aren t those connector blocks the correct ones or they something else,?
