Taper roller head bearings

I hope someone can give me some info. I need to know the dimensions of the spacer that sits under the lower bearing as a previous owner did not fit the spacer and I have run out of adjustment on the stem. I would rather not replace the whole set for one spacer, but will do if necessary.

Hi I fitted the spacer and there was to much clearance the headlight brackets moved up and down, so I took the spacer off and fitted the orginal honda thin steel one this gave me just enought clearance, you are welcome to mine but you might end up with loose fitting headlight brackets !
My model is a 1973 750 k3

Hi Simon

Thanks for that. Mine has the thin Honda spacer fitted, but when the steering is adjusted correctly, the head comes loose again after a few miles. Readjust and repeat and repeat untill the adjusting nut is tight and I still have about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of play at the front wheel. Way too much, so it must be due to the lack of a spacer.

Would you be so kind as to measure the spacer and let me have the dimensions. I can then get a couple made up of different thicknesses and fit the appropriate one.
