A 750K6. Only had it a couple of months. A decent, 40,000 miles 'survivor' bike. It had done something like 20 miles in the last 9 years, i think most with the choke on, as it wouldn't properly run off the choke. I've had a lot of advice on here for a few expected teething troubles. Thankfully, things that have been readily fixable, but finding spare parts a bit pricey.
I think I've pretty much gone through the bike on everything I can without removing the engine. It's fought me a bit though, in the process. Now done about 350 miles on it and it is settling down nicely. I'm hoping to avoid any engine out work for a few years of riding. But at 40,000 miles... I like the bike a lot so far, I think certainly enough to keep it and fix it if it's in my pay grade, or get it fixed when the time comes. Have really enjoyed getting to understand the bits of the bike ive had to touch, plus a comprehensive service.
Also have a 1975 Commando and a modern bike for runs out with mates and touring.
I often do a loop, Maldon, Hatfield Peverel, Wickham Bishops, Totham and home via Tiptree. Nice 30 mile test run!
