That makes two of us Ash!This one is on eBay and it looks to be in very good condition for a restoration although apparently it does have low compression. It even has the toolbox, rare on these. I can see it eventually going for big bucks looking at the bidding so far.https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1966-Honda-CB160-Unregistered-US-Import-Barn-Find-Classic-Restoration-Project-/334902774275?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&epid=334902774275&_trksid=p4429486.m2548.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
I only want one because it was my first bike so it would be a nostalga purchase. I can't remember the registration (it was a 1966 model) but I bought it in December 1978 just before my 17th Birthday. I paid £225 for it as it had been 'restored' it had, but using all the old parts as I found out not long after buying it! I had a very steep learning curve when it came to rebuilding engines after that one! According to a road test I read at the time they could do 85mph, hmmm......... I'm with you on the CB175, that was the bike I really wanted but I couldn't afford one. The blue one with the 'shark fin' (as I called them) side panels was the one for me. I had a CB200 as my third bike, unburstable engine in those.
