Spindle clamps , fitting of.

Is there a definite procedure for fitting the spindle clamps on that matters, I'm sure I saw something like this recently. I'm about to put a new second hand speedo snail on  ;)  major technological challenge!

Arrow on the clamp pointing forward or the F mark, depends on which one you have. If no mark put the clamp on a flat surface and press down, one end won't be level, that's the back. Fit and tighten the front nut up completely so there is no gap and then tighten the back nut up. That's it
