Cb750 k4, cam cover - whining noise left hand side
« on: June 17, 2023, 09:36:32 AM »
Can anyone recommend a garage in the south that can investigate and fix, I realise this might be an engine out job.

Many thanks for any help.

From your description I would be thinking potential camshaft bearing noise?
Might be worth taking off a tappet cover on the side where the noise is coming from to see if there is any oil splashing about?
Possibly see if opposite side has more oil.

As Bryan has said not many places will work on older bikes so you might get some suggestions from others here.

Honda CB500 K1 (new pit dug out ready)
Honda CB400 four super sport (first money pit)
