« on: June 20, 2023, 06:52:18 PM »
Hi all, working on electrics at the moment and found an original honda horn which works and has nice chrome but the plastic part on the back is missing. Has anyone got one or a manky old horn i could canibalise?

They don't tend to come apart Mick, the small screws holding them together rust in place and shear off when you attempt to remove them. The top 2 are fine to break off as they hold the bracket on but the rest are threaded into the alloy part of the horn, possible I suppose to drill them out and use nuts on the back of them.

Only just seen this post. But I have an original horn off a CB550K3 1977.
In Working order (a nice 'honk' sound, not your modern 'peep-peep' )
Chrome comes with a certain 'patina'.
Plastic at the back is intact.
Maybe useful to you?
£10 plus postage?
