Headlight bracket mounting rubbers, fitting of...
« on: June 27, 2023, 06:08:43 PM »
I'm in the process of refurbishing my headlight bracket and some other bits local to it. The ancient cracked and faded mounting rubbers are to be replaced and peeling away the old ones won't be  problem, but getting the new ones in place through that tiny hole looks like I'm in for some hair loss, burst blood vessels unless there is an easy way. anyone been there, know how too?

Smear with a little red rubber grease, push and turn at the same time to fit.
