O ring seal question for 500 cylinder bores?
« on: July 20, 2023, 05:42:39 PM »
The four cylinder bore block seals part number 91304-286-00 are shown in the parts book as 61.8 x 2 mm.

I have a set in my engine gasket set that fit nicely - they are black - on checking my disassembly photos the originals were a sort of orange/light brown colour.

Is this due to an upgrade in the materials used or ought they to be orange?

Fitted mine last night to my 500K0 engine and they were black. From a quality pattern gasket set Bryan kindly sold me ages ago when I first got the bike ...if they are good enough for Bryan they are good enough for me.
