Some advice Gary. I personally would not have fitted the head to the engine at this point, barrels maybe but I tend to wait until the bottom end is in place before I fit the top end, just to make it easier to fit the engine into the frame, it's a big heavy lump and it's very easy to hurt yourself doing this, crushed fingers etc. Mainly though it's the try and avoid frame paint damage, the lighter the engine the easier it is to get it into place. However we are where we are so I'd say don't fit the clutch or the rotor, remove the points plate before fitting as well, they are easily damaged and they ain't cheap to replace these days. With no clutch fitted you have a good handhold there, end of the crank on the other side is also good. No oil pan, no filter housing.
Spotted there is no seal fitted inside the tacho drive, has that since been done?
