Strobe Timing Light
« on: August 13, 2023, 12:54:32 PM »
My Sun strobe timing light has given up the ghost!  :'(

Any recommendations for a replacement - (I use one on my cars as well...) ?

Not a recommendation just one to avoid.

I have a Clarke so called High Beam Timing Light model CHBTL1 it is a powered type that I run off a slave car battery.

It works but the leads are quite short, it would probably be useless outside as it's not really that bright, it's ok in my garage.
Honda CB500 K1 (new pit dug out ready)
Honda CB400 four super sport (first money pit)

Yes, I remember years ago having one that wasn't even powered - absolute rubbish! Being able to see the light is fairly important!!
